The "Mat runt Gränna" event takes place over the Ascension Day weekend.
A delicious weekend where farms, producers, cafés, and restaurants around Gränna open their doors and offer local culinary experiences, locally sourced ingredients, and authentic Småland culinary traditions.
Tonight’s menu is inspired by local ingredients and producers from the area:
Meat
Crispy pork belly from Visingsögrisen, Asian salad with vegetables from Ravelsmarks gård, lemon and chili mayonnaise
Fish
Hot-smoked salmon from Sjöarp’s smokehouse, dressed spring salad made with ingredients from Ravelsmark Farm, and dill aioli
Vegetarian
Green asparagus risotto made with green asparagus, raw shaved green asparagus from Ravelsmark Farm, “Josefin” blue cheese from Brostorp Farm, and crispy bread
Always on the menu
Vaggeryd pork sausage with parsley-stewed potatoes, coarse mustard from Visingsö, and beets
