Gyllene Uttern is perfect for weddings, with its romantic setting and its own chapel on site.

We are happy to help you create your dream wedding and assist you with all our knowledge to inspire you on your fantastic day, which you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Weddings can be arranged in our small chapel or outdoors on the terrace. The Swedish Church is, of course, located in Gränna in the immediate vicinity if you prefer to be there.

If you wish, we can set up tables according to your wishes on our veranda with a fabulous view of Lake Vättern and Visingsö. There are options for different seating arrangements and different furniture depending on what you want, but we do not have round tables. The optimal seating capacity on the veranda is 75–85 people, including the head table.

We have 51 rooms and are happy to help you create a dinner that really feels like yours. We tailor the evening to your wishes and are with you every step of the way in the planning process.

We have several different venues and spaces that can be adapted to your specific needs. A private room for quiet preparations, a place for the after-party, or a playroom where children can enjoy themselves during the evening.

After dinner, many guests continue the celebration in our cozy coffee shop, which is perfect for dancing and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere.

If you need a sound system or microphones, we can of course arrange that too – just let us know and we will make sure everything is in place.

Love has long had a special place at Gyllene Uttern.
As early as 1955, there were 141 visits to the chapel, at a time when people gathered here for life's big moments, overlooking the sparkling waters of Lake Vättern.
Pentecost Eve has been a particularly significant day over the years. In 1977, no fewer than 27 couples were married here on the same festive day.
The chapel was filled with anticipation, church bells and happy congratulations – a tradition that put Gyllene Uttern on the map as an obvious wedding venue.
Even today, the romantic atmosphere remains. With history in the walls and the view as a backdrop, new love stories continue to begin here.

Are you dreaming of an intimate and beautiful wedding ceremony with your closest friends and family? Then our chapel is the perfect venue. It can accommodate around 35 guests in a personal and atmospheric setting.

You book the officiant yourself through Jönköping Municipality or a priest through the Church of Sweden, and we will be happy to help you with the rest to create a beautiful whole.

Gränna Church is the town's gem and treasure. It is located in the center on Brahegatan, which during the Middle Ages was part of Sweden's Erik's Way and later the "riksettan" (royal road).
